Scope

These terms apply to the use of this website (ponyglot.app) and to signing up for Ponyglot early access. The provider is Dr. Fabian Braun, c/o A.IX Capital GmbH, Erkrather Straße 401, 40231 Düsseldorf, Germany (see the imprint).

Ponyglot is not yet generally available. Use of the hosted service — including early-access pilots — will be governed by a separate agreement that we conclude with you before you start.

Early-access signup

Signing up is free and does not create an obligation for either side. In particular, it does not give you a right to be admitted to early access, and it does not commit you to buy anything. We select participants at our discretion, based on the setups we can support first.

Please only enter accurate details and a work email address you are entitled to use. How we handle your data is described in the privacy notice.

Features, prices and availability

Ponyglot is in development. Features, code examples, plans and prices shown on this website describe what we plan to offer; they are not a binding offer and may change before launch. All prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable depending on your location. Binding terms are only those in the agreement you conclude with us.

Right of withdrawal and refunds for consumers

If you book a paid plan as a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving reasons. To withdraw, send us a clear statement, for example by email to hello@ponyglot.app.

If you withdraw before using the service, we refund the full price. If you asked us to start the service before the withdrawal period ends, we refund the price for the unused part of your translation allowance and keep the part you have used. We make the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method you paid with.

Business customers have no statutory right of withdrawal; cancellation terms for them are set out in their agreement.

Open-source connectors

The Ponyglot connectors are open source and licensed under the BSD license. Their use is governed solely by that license, not by these terms.

Content of this website

Texts, graphics and the Ponyglot logo on this website are protected by copyright and may not be reused without our permission, except where the law allows it. Names of third-party products such as Django, django CMS and Wagtail belong to their respective owners; Ponyglot is not affiliated with them.

We provide this website as is and do not guarantee that it is available at all times or free of errors. We are not responsible for the content of external websites we link to.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely), and only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, our liability is excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms, for example when the service launches. The version published on this page at the time you use the website applies.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
